Another one of our friends, and member of our new favorite band The Albertans, has a solo art show at the Monte Clark Gallery.

I had only seen a poster Alison had made for a string of Albertans shows (which I really liked!) until I asked her for an image for this post. Alison sent me quite a few pictures of her pieces and I have to say, they are very interesting.

The one that is featured in this article is my favorite. Something about this collaged, city skyline is clever in it’s use of what I assume are found pieces of paper.

Anyway, the show opens September 11th, 2008 and runs until October 11th, 2008 at the Monte Clark Gallery which is located at 2339 Granville Street here in Vancouver, BC. For more info go to www.monteclarkgallery.com
